Scott Liles

Owner/Executive Director, PBHI


Scott Liles, third generation construction leadership. "Ours is a story of unwavering perseverance and enduring passion—for safer homes, for the community, for world-class construction."

Scott was born in Florida and raised in Tennessee earning a BS from Middle Tennessee State University. Scott brings to Palm Beach Hurricane Impact deep, customer-centric focus, sales and operations management experience, diversity and inclusion of a workforce covering the south Florida area. Under his leadership of implementing strategic goals and overseeing operations, PBHI accelerates its transformation to being the "best" construction.

Scott has served the South Florida community since 2005 with his wife Kristy. Both are active members in the Boca Raton community and have two young boys, who aspire to continue the family tradition in construction leadership. Scott enjoys gatherings with family and friends, golf, and fishing in the Florida Keys.

David Mead

CBC1252225, Certified Building Contractor


David Mead has two decades of experience innovation and leading the the Construction Leadership (CL) industry. During this time, he has played numerous leadership and business roles from National Homebuilders, supervising rough carpentry crews and overseeing numerous commercial and residential projects. David is responsible for the people strategy, leadership, skills, careers, engagement, employee service and labor cost.

He obtained his Certified Contractor License in 2004 and has worked in a variety of capacities in the construction industry since 1999. In his current role as Project Manager, David is responsible for helping to guide PBHI's state-wide technical and business success.

David served proudly on the US Marine Corps, is a certified flight instructor, and enjoys sailing.

Kristy Liles

VP of Misc. Stuff, PBHI


Kristy Liles was named an officer of PBHI in 2017. Kristy is responsible for the operational discipline and profit performance across Doral Impact, the consulting and professional services unit of Palm Beach Hurricane Impact.

Kristy has authority over the sale and purchase of commercial and residential properties throughout South Florida. Her expertise ranges from South Florida to Orlando. In 2018, Kristy added Houston TX, Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia and Ecuador to expand her international reach.

During her tenure with PBHI, Kristy has redesigned all aspects of the company’s people agenda and management systems to shape a culture of continuous learning, innovation and agility.

Beginning June 5, 2020, certain Palm Beach Hurricane Impact (PBHI) field offices and customer service offices will resume face-to-face services to the public. In-home quotes support centers will resume services later. PBHI has enacted precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in reopened facilities:

  • Visitors may not enter a PBHI facility if they:

o    Have any symptoms of COVID-19, including cough, fever or difficulty breathing;

o    Have been in close contact with anyone known or suspected to have COVID-19 in the last 14 days; or

o    Have been individually directed to self-quarantine or self-isolate by a health care provider or public health official within the last 14 days.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided for visitors at entry points.
  • Members of the public must wear facial coverings that cover both the mouth and nose when entering facilities. If they do not have one, PBHI may provide one or the visitor will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
  • There will be markings and physical barriers in the facility; visitors should pay close attention to these signs to ensure they follow social distancing guidelines.
  • Individuals may also have to answer health screening questions before entering a facility.
  • Individuals are encouraged to bring their own black or blue ink pens.

Appointment notices will include further instructions for visiting PBHI facilities. Please note that PBHI locations are not accepting visits at this time.
